Technical inspection (for the seller)

With a technical inspection, you give potential buyers good insight into the condition of the home.

This allows you to come clean and comply with the legal obligation to provide information. This gives buyers confidence and prevents discussions (new negotiations) about possible defects found during the sales process. Because these are already mentioned in our report.

What to expect.

During the inspection, we inspect and assess the home from the top of the roof to the crawl space. You will then receive an extensive report in which we describe the most important parts of the home. The report provides a clear insight into the possible defects, state of maintenance and the expected costs (immediate and in the long term). We also provide tips and a 6-year maintenance plan (MYMP). Our reports are clear, understandable and provided with photos. This way the potential buyer knows exactly what to expect.

Working method

1. Appointment and confirmation

Once the technical inspection is scheduled, you will receive an order confirmation with a link to our terms and conditions and your customers screen. After you approve the terms and conditions, in your customer screen, the appointment is final.

2. The inspection

During the technical inspection you are welcome to attend (this is not mandatory). If needed and safely accessible*, we also inspect the flat roofs and crawl spaces. The inspection takes, depending on the size of the house, between 1 and 1,5 hours.

Some of the findings are often already recorded during the inspection on a tablet. The report is being drawn up elsewhere.

3. Payment and receiving the report

When the report is ready you will receive an e-mail from Q-keur with an iDeal-payment request. After payment you can directly download the report in your customer screen.

* Safety: During roof inspections we only enter roofs that can be reached with a bridge of max. 4 meters. We only enter safe crawl spaces: minimum crawl height of approximately 50 cm, without low water and/or asbestos.
